With independence all politicial groups in the country had opportunities to rule the country and taste power. Almost all benefited by it and in return ruled citizens got was a bankrupt country.
Now to lead a peaceful live citizens must play their role properly to uplift the country. Possible if they elect good politicians as their representative, to replace all selfish politicians in present parliament. Only then country will prosper giving pleasant and prosperous life for all in Sri Lanka.
Enough is enough of people blindly trusting selfish politicians; for too long they trusted and voted them to power. With citizens finding unity in diversity, nothing will be impossible, with a parliament filled with representatives willing to serve than get served by the people!
