Covid-19 has brought to light many hard facts; how heavily unequal countries in the world are placed. Not just between the rich and the poor countries, but between communities in any country. Our own mother land Sri Lanka is not excluded from these findings.

In this scenario, Covid-19 has given us a much needed intervention to pause a little to self examin ourselves. These findings should be an eye opener to the rulers as well as the ruled in the country. It’s time for them to plan for real changes needed to address the deficiencies, without putting blame on others!
